Reciepe or How to Make a Cireng

Cireng is one Sundanese snack (Bandung). Cireng means aci (tapioca) in cooking. Here is a way to make Cireng :

Aci / starch / tapioca ¼ kg
1 tablespoon flour
2 leeks, thinly sliced
2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, crushed
½ teaspoon pepper
1 cup / 200 ml coconut milk
salt and the oil



Step:

  1. Mix tapioca flour / starch by flour into a container, put the pepper, salt and flavoring and sliced scallions and celery leaves and mix well.

  3. Lift and immediately pour into flour mixture, stirring Form the dough or round shaped and flattened and then fried in hot oil using low heat until the color is evenly browned and cooked. Remove and drain then serve while hot.
